Due to the state of affairs back in the day, it would be extremely difficult to prove that type of thing.

However, what is the prudent course of belief?

Believe in something without proof. (Like god, and the flying spaghetti monster, and big foot?)
Or view the world with a skeptical eye, and you MAY not believe in some things that are in fact true, but you run all data through the same ‘logical’ process?

I think it is more prudent, to do the latter.

First of all, please note that this is a hypothetical.

Having said that, suppose a child’s stepfather wants to adopt him. He contemplates filing a petition to adopt the child with the local probate court. Is the soldier exempt from these kinds of civil actions in that he is deployed? That is, would the court decline to rule on this matter until the soldier’s service is complete?

This goes for any other kind of civil action. Say your neighbor files an action on account of high grass or overgrown trees. Are you obligated to respond to these actions even though you are a deployed soldier?

Any responsibility on the part of the deployed soldier would have to at least be deferred. It’s not like he or she would be able to put down the weapon and tell the soldiers on the other side that they have to wait to fight because he or she has business to take care of back home.

A serviceman on active duty is not exempt from civil court actions. No matter where the serviceman is stationed. However, depending on the gravity of the civil case, most courts would postpone the matter until the serviceman is no longer out of the country. The action you describe concerning the adoption of a child is not a civil action. That matter is usually within the family courts. And I thing that a family court would accept written, notorized statements of a serviceman who is deployed.

2001 manual ford escape stuck in reverse.?
anyone help me with this? i was parallel parking when i suddenly couldn’t get my car out of reverse. the shift column will go straight up to 5th and back down to reverse, but won’t go into any other gears. won’t go into 5th, just moves up into that position. car drives smooth in reverse and doesn’t make any noises. didn’t hear any pop or other noise when it happened either. i did just have the entire clutch, master/slave cylinders, etc. replaced a month ago. the guys said the tranny was in great shape and should last a few more years, so I’m really hoping that’s not the issue. any ideas?

Bourne Ultimatum uses a few of the same type of going back and showing a scene from a different perspective but not the whole story.

More than just vampires. My novel is actually good and all my friends and some random people i gave rough drafts of the first three chapters keep on coming to me for more. It’s about a bouy who believes he is a mortal who is actually part vampire and part wizard, who finds and rescues a lupugriff hatchling. Sort of like Eragon, lol.

My PS3 tends to 'freeze' when loading certain parts of certain games. How can I fix this?
I have purchased (several years ago. Probably about….3), a refurbished Playstation 3. Since my time of purchase it has been working JUST fine. I have ONLY played PS3 games on this console. I do not have any image files/music files/videos/downloaded games on it. I have only played things such as Dragon Age: Origins, Rock Band, Resident Evil 5, Soul Caliber 4, Saw, and Silent Hill: Homecoming. These are the -only- games I own for this console. The version of this playstation 3 doesn’t play any other discs BUT ps3 games and DVD’s.

Recently I have been having trouble with it, but only with my games "Soul Caliber 4" and "Dragon Age: Origins". My problems are as follows.

When playing Dragon Age: Origins, whenever I reach a certain part in the storyline/plot with a certain file (or any file for that matter), it will "freeze" on the map screen while loading, or at any loading screen, and stay that way for up to 30 minutes before I am forced to turn my system off. I have checked, and the data is not corrupted.

When playing Soul Calibur 4, my Playstation will freeze randomly, and remain so until I turn it off/on again, and even then it’s not guaranteed it won’t happen a second time.

Other games such as Saw, Rock Band, & etc do not seem to be having this problem, but I am getting rather tired of playing games that are in BRAND NEW condition with no smudges/scratches, that have over 9 hours or more of gameplay time, and having to start a -new- file each time this happens, because the others simply do not load.

As I have stated above, the games are brand new, without scratches or smudges, and my Playstation itself hasn’t been tampered with, to my knowledge, and has worked fine while playing other games up until this point of having played both Dragon Age: Origins, and Soul Calibur 4 (the only games that freeze up).

The warranty has expired on it long ago, or if I can recall, it didn’t COME with one since it’s used.
It was purchased legitimately at an EB Games outlet in a strip mall close to where I live.

Do you know what the problem is or what I can do?
Is it time to put this refurbished lemon to sleep and replace with a shiny new one?
