Is "repomen" a continuation of the "repo! the genetic opera" universe?
I recently saw the trailer for repomen and after watching repo the genetic opera and being a fan of the film long ago I can’t help but notice it has an identical storyline but the trailer I saw said nohing of the producers from saw and I’m fairly sure a different director can anyone cross reference this and be sure

No it’s not, people have accused it of being a rip-off of Repo! The Genetic opera…but other than a similar storyline the films have nothing to do with eachother.

There are meant to be two more Repo films as it was made for a trilogy. They were hoping to make a prequal and then a sequal but the film was made on really low budget so it really needs to get recognition and money for this to happen. Darren Lynn Bousman says in the commentary that fans shoud tell thier friends about the film as it isnt that famous…I really want them to make another

Pete’s Dragon (1977) IMDB rating: 6.00 Plot: A young troubled boy named Pete and his guardian dragon Elliott elude the abusive Gogan family, who all use Pete as a slave instead of a loved child. When Pete can successfully run away from them with his dragon, he stumbles into the town of Passamaquaddy- an ocean front harbor town filled with superstitious fishermen, drunken hooligans and wary townsfolk. Pete’s arrival does not mix well with the citizens, as his dragon Elliott accidentally causes town rioting and gossip among the town drunks about the dragon. Expecting to be an outcast yet again, Pete is taken in by the kind Nora who lives in a lighthouse with her father Lampy. While Pete bonds with Nora and Lampy, the townsfolk have not lowered their guards and suspicions about the dragon.
